The Liquor Stop- Personalized and Friendly Service

The Liquor Stop has been a source for spirits and local wines in the Granville region since 1996.

Conveniently located in the Tractor Supply Plaza, the Liquor Stop has a varied selection of wines and liquors.

Featured on the store's shelves is an assortment of New York wines, including many labels from the Finger Lakes.  The store also carries products from local wineries such as Adirondack Winery of Lake George and the Slyboro Cider House, including its Black Current Hard Cider.

There are also a variety of international brands gracing the store's shelves.  Sweet wines, such as Roscato, a sweet semi-sparkling red wine from Italy, has proven to have been particularly popular.  The shop also carries labels from California, including Bubbly Fusions and Refresh from Modesto based Barefoot Wine and Bubbly.

If you're unsure what flavor to bring home, the staff can help you choose a bottle or you can sample different flavors most Fridays afternoons from 2 to 6 p.m.

The Liquor Stop also offers a 10 percent discount for case purchases.

If you prefer your drink on the stiffer side, the Liquor Stop has an assortment of liquors.  One of the most popular liquors is flavored vodkas such as Pinnacle and flavored whiskies, like Jim Beam and Crown Royal Maple Whiskey.

Junior Johnson's Midnight Moonshine remains popular and comes in a variety of flavors such as Apple Pie, Blackberry and Strawberry.

And while tastes change and evolve, personalized and friendly service remains a constant.  If you can't find what you're looking for or need some guidance, just ask.  And if you're searching for something for that special someone, the friendly staff of the Liquor Stop- Deb, Donna, Gail and Tom - offer complimentary gift wrapping.

For further information, stop by Monday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Sunday between Noon to 5 p.m., or call The Liquor Stop at (518) 642-9262.
